About The Site
Title: Kairo
Title Explanation: Until I got my Japanese dictionary I thought
Kairo meant 'circuit', which seemed quite fitting because I imagined a circuit of fans. But it seems to mean
'electricity circuit'. Oops.
Date of Birth: 2004.01.06
Purpose: When I tried to find information about Jinkaku Radio, I only
found some stuff scattered around the net, mostly in Japanese. So I decided to make my
own fansite, to gather all Jinkaku Radio stuff together so people can get to know them
better. Although there are a few Japanese fansites, I'm proud to say this is the
only English fansite about them.
Thank You
I want to say 'thank you' to all the awesome people that have contributed things to this site. Without the help from these people the gallery would be extremely tiny, the lyrics translations nonexistent, and so on!
But most of all I want to thank the band, Jinkaku Radio, for just being them.
If you have any comments, feedback or would like to submit something please email me. You can also leave a message in the guestbook if you don't need a fast reaction.
What the management said
The band's management (although they've changed managements now), knows this site exists. A few years ago they asked JaME to remove the link to Kairo, because "the website shows Yuuki's birthdate/year (which he has published himself in Konnyarome) and updates the newsbefore the official site does."
My reaction: you're welcome for the free promotion!
Webmistress:
My name is Kay, I have aged six years since starting this site so now I'm 24. I live and work in the Netherlands. I studied multimedia and am currently doing journalism next to my job. Other artists I like are Remioromen, PUSHIM, Ketsumeishi, Soroban, Aurora, MUNEHIRO, Lecca, Miyuki Nakajima, and so on. Frankly, other than Jinkaku Radio I don't listen to anything visual kei related anymore.
I got to know Jinkaku Radio through a mp3 site that uploaded Gogo no Rakka, and now I'm the lucky owner of almost their complete discography, (including demo-tape which I traded for my soul!) videos missing unfortunately. I have my special 'Jin-Ra-wall' with posters & flyers of them, for which I paid a ridiculous amount of money.
I saw them live in the summer of 2006 which was the best thing ever, and afterwards I met Yuuki, which was awesome. After a lot of thinking, I realized that I don't really have a favorite song, I like all of them but especially Taion, Gogo no rakka, Fukai mori no naka,no sanagi and Hoshi ni negai o but I really can't choose between all of them...
In case you're interested, my livejournal is over here: mithredat. I also have a mixi profile which I never use XD
If you want to know what I'm listening to, check out my last.fm/audioscrobler profile.
Other sites I own are: Mithredat.com, Philosophy, and Shirokuro web. I also work for JaME and am one of the founders of JRock NL.
